What is a (CNAME) - Cannonical name?
A CNAME maps an alias to real name. Most commonly used to map "www.excedonetworks.eu" to the A resource record of "excedonetworks.eu". This way all future IP address changes only need to be made in one location. CNAME entries can not be made at the root of the domain "excedonetworks.eu" or co-exist with other resource records with the same name. A CNAME should not point to another CNAME.
